Ken Blackman is a relationship and dating expert who has helped hundreds of couples have a deeper relationship with one another. He is the author of the upcoming book, Powerful Woman, Confident Man, and has provided his services from San Francisco all the way to Paris and Sydney. His work has gained recognition and mentioned in multiple publications such as Business Insider, Cosmopolitan, and Tim Ferriss’ 4-Hour book series. When he’s not helping couples, Ken takes the mantle of a teacher and educates those who attend his workshops on intimacy, sex, and deep connection.
Ken joins me today to discuss the workings of dating after 40. He shares the importance of going back to basics and why we shouldn’t follow the current fast-paced dating trends. He describes what it means to be honest on the first date and how it will impact not just your confidence, but also how the other person sees you. He also shares how he managed to fight his insecurities and become a person people like to be with.
“If you're going to postpone physical intimacy, don't postpone emotional intimacy. Have it in the beginning because that's what you're both there for.” - Ken Blackman
