Stephanie Raffelock is an author, blogger, and renowned speaker who seeks to empower women to embrace their personal journey. She began her career as a graduate from Naropa University with a focus on writing and poetics. After graduation, she spent many years as a blogger for online magazines before pursuing her passion for uplifting women and helping them to find their strengths and gifts in middle age. She is the author of the best-selling book, A Delightful Little Book On Aging, and of the forthcoming publication, Creatrix Rising: Unlocking the Power of Midlife Women. She currently resides in Austin, Texas, with her husband and loyal Labrador Retriever.

Today Stephanie and I discuss the uncertainty of midlife for women and how their role is vital but undervalued. Stephanie discusses her journey to understand the archetypes of women through her study of Jungian psychology and how she unearthed the archetype of The Creatrix. She shares her thoughts on the gifts that women have to give to their communities and society as a whole. We explore the misconceptions about power in business and why women are key to achieving success in corporate arenas. Stephanie also shares how staying connected to her ancestors has shaped her journey of self-reflection.

“Women can give permission to the society - especially older women - to cry, to mourn, to grieve, to lament.” - Stephanie Raffelock
