David Wood is the Founder of Focus, a coaching and leadership business that helps business owners double their revenue by allowing leaders to focus on less. The coaching strategy involves removing distractions, increasing leadership impact, and keeping an eye on the long-term goal. He is the author of Get Paid For Who You Are, where he teaches readers his 5-step approach to online business success. Before starting Focus, David was a Consulting Actuary for Fortune 100 companies, notably Sony Music, Exxon, and Procter & Gamble.

David joins me to discuss how our brain keeps telling us that we have all these problems and why there is truly nothing wrong, despite what we’re telling ourselves. He shares how you can alter how your mind looks at bad news and teach it to see more ‘rights’ than ‘wrongs’. He explains how his company helps business leaders have peace in their lives through tough conversations and describes how he guides his clients into having tough conversations and the steps he takes to address their personal problems. David also discusses some of the contents of his book and what readers can look forward to when they read it.

"The only thing that controls my happiness is what I’m believing about it.” - David Wood
