Beth Armknecht Miller is a leadership development advisor and owner of Executive Velocity, a succession planning and leadership development firm. Her company aims to help business leaders empower themselves to be the leader their team needs them to be. She is the author of Are You Talent Obsessed?: Unlocking the secrets to a workplace team of raving high-performers, a book where she helps individuals learn how to maximize their talent. Before going full-time with Executive Velocity, Beth served 13 years as the Chairwoman of Vistage International.

Beth joins me today to describe the stress leaders are experiencing as their employees are going back to work amidst the coronavirus pandemic. She discusses how Executive Velocity helps leaders become mentally and emotionally prepared to lead their team. She explains the importance of pausing from time to time and why leaders should always have a succession plan. Beth also shares the common reasons some leaders end up failing.
