Dr. Watson Jordan is the Executive Director at Sprinkle Caldwell, an educational consulting firm that is currently leading what they refer to as The Resilience Initiative. It’s an 18-month study that focuses on the emotional, physical, and financial health areas of resilience. Some of his responsibilities as Executive Director include senior management, crisis management, and campus safety. Watson is also the author of Mine, Ours, and Yours, a book that explores a father’s journey through the life and death of a child.
Watson joins me today to share the 5-3-1 foundation of resiliency and how we can use it to withstand some of life’s greatest challenges. He shares why he is passionate about resilience and why he views the midlife crisis from a biological perspective. He explains the importance of participating in communities and how they benefit you physically and spiritually. Watson also shares the wonderful story of the person behind the name of his website.
“When someone has five friends, three communities, and know their core beliefs - they build resilience.” - Dr. Watson Jordan
