Gregory Sadler is the Founder and President of ReasonIO, a professional training and coaching company based in Milwaukee, WI, where he is an educator, public speaker, author, and content creator.  Gregory is a consultant that makes resources from philosophical texts and thinkers understandable and accessible to a global audience. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, where he teaches Philosophy and Design courses. Robert is currently the Lead Ethics consultant with Paroxysm Digital Pty Ltd. where he collaborates with the leadership team on language and communications pertaining to ethical problems or conflicts, ethical dimensions, and implications of applications. He has an MA and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Southern Illinois University and is a certified Philosophical Counselor.

Gregory joins me today to share how he decided to major in philosophy in the early days of his post-Army journey into academia. We discuss the various relationships he’s had with the great thinkers of our times and why no single philosopher has all the rules you should live your life by. Gregory explains how positive psychology and religion are both modes of ‘intentional living’ when we consider how to make decisions rationally. He also shares the philosophers who have inspired him, the famous and the not so famous, from Plutarch to Aristotle to the lesser known academics such as Alasdair MacIntyre.

“If you can make sense out of human nature using philosophy in ways that are not narrowly specialized, you can do that as an organizational psychologist or you can do that as somebody who's going to come in and fix the HR department” - Gregory Sadler
