Tod Jacobs and Peter Lynn are the authors of Not A Partnership, a book seeks to have people look at marriage from a business perspective. They aim to help readers focus on developing maturity and an idealistic vision of marriage. Tod is the Director of the David Robinson Institute for Jewish Heritage in Jerusalem and has experience working at JP Morgan. Peter has served as Dean of Students at the same institute and an accomplished athlete and Ironman finisher.
Tod and Peter join me today to discuss what their book is about and what inspired them to write it. They describe why marriage is not a partnership and how it’s a lot like a business. They explain the different phases of marriage, and the common mistakes people make before and during their marriage. They also describe the impact of intimacy in a great married life and share tips on how to get the magic back and make your marriage exciting again.
“At the end of the day, marriage can be a real partnership - the most meaningful partnership you will ever have.” - Tod Jacobs
