Paul is a force of nature when it comes to influencing us all to take a look at our state of mind He uses his powerful experiences, having his father committing suicide at a young age, to get us and all of society to bring Mental Health conversations out of the shadows.  In this episode, we talk about the signs to look for, the tools to avail yourself of and the dangers of “social perfectionism.”  You will not want to miss this one for yourself or a loved one.  We are all affected.

Paul McGregor is a mental health advocate, author (Man up Man Down) and Founder of a Men's Fashion Magazine. In 2009, Paul lost his Dad to suicide. It came as a shock to all as there were no warning signs, and at 19, Paul personally struggled to deal with it. He overworked chased “success” and distracted himself from the grief. So shortly after his Dad's suicide, Paul too found himself in a dark place, suffering from depression and fearing he'd follow in his Dad's footsteps.

Luckily, he found a way to recovery, and now runs a successful online men's fashion magazine. Paul has also been featured on GQ and The Huffington Post and creates daily content spreading awareness around mental health. Paul is a strong believer that we shouldn't be ashamed of our stories, we should let them inspire others. He's also married to his wonderful wife Amy, has two lovely children, but is still terrible at DIY.
