Before Robin Silverman was a mother and homemaker, she could be found behind the video camera producing award-winning videos for both business and artistic ends. But Robin did not stay behind the scenes. For years, she used her Master’s Degree in Interpretation (ASL) from Gallaudet University to pioneer signing/performing music lyrics on screen and on stage. She has performed with world-class artists like Garth Brooks, Bruce Springsteen and at the Opryland Hotel with Vince Gill. After years raising her two boys, Robin has returned to her career as a Sign Language Interpreter and has once again taken to the stage exploring music and singing.
Robin joins me today for an intimidate and very vulnerable conversation about our divorce and the life we created together afterward. Robin and I will take you through the initial devastation, the painful, rocky road of healing, and ultimately the creation of our new lives as co-parents, friends and our unwavering support for each other.
“The best measure of success, for the children, are the parents getting along, during the divorce.” – Robin Silverman
“If you're devastated, you can get through this, and there will be joy again.” – Robin Silverman
