Taylor Scott is an author, consultant, and keynote speaker. He has over twenty years of experience in the hospitality industry, working with big players such as the Walt Disney Company and Wynn Resorts. Taylor is also the author of Ballgames to Boardrooms. The book tells stories about his various experiences regarding leadership and hospitality and how they shaped who he is today. In his spare time, Taylor likes to blog on Lead With Hospitality, where he shares his thoughts on life and meaningful moments.
Taylor joins me today to share why hospitality is key to great leadership. He describes his journey and how his internship was affected by 9/11. He discusses the idea of hospitality and how it applies to managing hotels, resorts, and team members. He explains the difference between IQ and EQ and how they influence the jobs you get. Taylor also shares the lessons you can learn from reading his book.
